our first box

From: chip goss (kancamangusdabull@yahoo.com) | Date: 2000-06-25 19:57:23 UTC-07:00
Greetings,

Wanted everyone to get the directions to the very
first box placed by Chef Stan and myself
Kancamangusdabull
or "Angus" for short. It is hidden somewhere in
eastern CT. We hope that those searching for this clue
have fun and enjoy the day.
Here goes:

THE BEAR CAVE
Bring a flashlight or a headlamp,
you'll need this tool to find the stamp.

A round of a Colt .45
Shot from way up high.
Stand at Mr. Miagi's Pride.
Find the Bearing of 325
on a red lid your eyes should arrive.
Walk to that lid,tacked to a psuedo-pine.
Bear to 62. You should derive
a place you can in or down, do climb
Walk down 3 "steps",to feel a thermocline.
Turn around now, face where you arrived.
Sight in a stash not to high,
But level, just to the eye.
And there it will be, YOUR PRIZE!

Good luck and good hunting!

Chip and Stan!

Chip and Stan,

I think your new box is so cool. I've just started getting into
caving within the last month here in Vermont, and have been planning
some boxes for Vermont's easy caves. Real Tom Sawyer & Becky
Thatcher, Mines of Moria, hunting. Can't wait to get down and try
yours.

I put your clues up under the ? in southeastern CT.
